that everyone involved is sincerely interested in doing what they can for

Description:
|
Serves as the primary
interface between TGE and the local community, represents the local membership
on TGE's Directoral Board as well representing TGE to the local community
as a whole. |

Responsibilities:
|
The
primary responsibilities of this position are:

Keeping in touch with
the regional community.
-
Communicating with local
groups to let them know about TGE.
-
Insuring that regional
resource information is correct and up to date.
-
Soliciting and interviewing
potential participants for our Business
Associates Program.
-
Accessability to TGE's
regional membership.
-
Acknowledging and welcoming
new members from the region.
-
Maintaining contact information
for regional members.
-
Serves as a local contact
person for TGE.
-
Participation the management
process of TGE by representing the interests of the regional membership
on the National Directoral Board.

Special
Notes:
|
Occasionally directors
may also be required to assist in the planning and organization of events
sponsored by TGE such as our annual convention.
Directors are allowed to select assistant or co-director, however should
they choose to do so it is important to insure that that interests and
lifestyles of all our members are represented, CD, TS, TV, SOFFA, etc.
For this reason it is strongly encouraged that directors appoint assistants
with different lifestyle concerns then their own as a step towards creating
a network of members in different areas throughout the region to aid in
the performance of their responsibilities. Such networking would ideally
encourage the the involvement of the regional members yet maintain accountability. |

Conditions:

While this a voluntary
position those chosen serve at the will of the regional membership of TGE
and may be appointed or removed by it's directors. |
