Description:
|
Oversees TGE's regional
directoral operations at the national level coordinating between the International
Director and the Regional Directors, selecting and/or removing Regional
Directors and filling in during vacancies in said positions in the National
area for which responsible. |

Responsibilities:
|
The
primary responsibilities of this position are:
-
Selects and/or removes
regional directors for positions in the national area for which responsible.
-
Introduces candidates
to standing directoral members.
-
Insures that regional
directors are familiar with their responsibilities.
-
May remove regional directors
for failure to preform duties required
or by majority petition from the regional membership.
-
Fills in as needed where
there are vacancies in Regional
Director positions.
-
Acknowledging and welcoming
new members from the region, etc.
-
Participation in the management
process of TGE by serving as chairperson
of the National Directoral Board and represents those interests on TGE's
Management Board which coordinates activities and policy with the International
Director.

Notes:

Occasionally directors
may also be required to assist in the planning and organization of events
sponsored by TGE such as our annual convention.

Directors are allowed to select assistant or co-director, however
should they choose to do so it is important to insure that that interests
and lifestyles of all our members are represented, CD, TS, TV, SOFFA, etc.
For this reason it is strongly encouraged that directors appoint assistants
with different lifestyle concerns then their own as a step towards creating
a network of members in different areas throughout the region to aid in
the performance of their responsibilities. Such networking would ideally
encourage the the involvement of the regional members yet maintain accountability. |

Conditions:

While this a voluntary
position those chosen serve at the will of the regional membership of TGE
and may be appointed or removed by it's directors. |
